Oh hehehehe.. no problem.. I can thank your journal entry for actually breaking out of my art block. (I was also deep in the midst of the flu death too at the time).. I just felt like that needed to come out.. hehehe.. Part of the sketchyness is due to a lil'bit of being-sick-impatience. I'm happy to say that it's pretty much done now, and I'm back at the studio with minimal barking and lung-butter..

So happy you like it.. I've been quietly watching your stuff for a while now.. ^_~

I actually didn't recognize that as an Arbok until after seeing some of these other comments, and then it was facepalm time.

But that was actually a good thing. I like the fact that it's a Pokemon, yet drawn in a style that's very non-Pokemon but still cartoony in a different way. It's more unique and interesting that way.

You're right, in that if I had KNOWN it was a Pokemon instead of a neat cobra design, it would've effected the outcome of the drawing. I seriously had no idea until it was pointed out by

, who saw it at a nearly-complete state. By which point I was completely surprised, and not entirely sure what to think of it. But I just shrugged and posted it as is..

In all honesty, I was just doing a gift art of (what I thought was) a couple of random characters from a friends character gallery. I don't know much of anything about Pokemon, so I had no idea that in fact I was doing my own version of a pokemon character. So, in a round'about way, that is Arbok.. Just.. well.. I didn't know it until someone pointed that out.

XD Sounds like the mistake of many. Arbok the ultimate cobra. You don't realize you're drawing him till it's too late.
